| Shot and killed by a lone gunman on the afternoon of 06 Dec 1989. Entering the school, he ordered the women to stand forward. Thirteen others were wounded, the majority being women. The gunman had been rejected by the school when he applied for admission. He blamed feminists for ruining his life. Armed with a Sturm Ruger Mini-14 semi-automatic rifle, knives and bandoliers of ammunitions, he decided to kill as many women engineering students as possible. After his rampage, he shot and killed himself. |
