Welcome to my home.  I am a wife, mother and grandmother, living in Ontario, Canada.  Favourite things to do are searching my Roots, camping, travelling, reading, bird watching, enjoying my family, and keeping in touch with friends, not necessarily in that order.

My husband Ralph and I live in the country on a 100 acre farm, where we have a nursery and landscaping business.  The land has been in our family for 4 generations.  Our brick and stone house is over 140 years old.  In 1784, this area was settled by the United Empire Loyalists, soldiers, and families, who fought for the King during the American Revolution.  Homeless, they began a new life in a new land, building a strong foundation for a country that became Canada.  Today, many of their descendants still reside here.  Our family is among these descendants.
